Pic Adam
Pic Adam, also known as Piton Bois de Nèfles, is an iconic peak near Saint-Denis in the north of Réunion, rising to 1,124 metres. Its distinctive shape makes it recognisable from several kilometres away. From the summit you can take in a panorama of the whole of northern Réunion, and the mountain is a popular free area for hiking and picnicking among locals.

La Roche Ecrite
La Roche Écrite rises to around 2,276 metres and stands above the island from the Saint-Denis heights. Its summit offers sweeping views of the Mafate and Salazie cirques and the Reunion coastline, and it is a hiking point to observe forest birds including the endangered endemic Tuit-Tuit. It can be reached along the great-loop GR R2 from Mamode Camp or Dos d'Ane.

Mosquee Noor E Islam
The Mosquée Noor-e-Islam in Saint-Denis was built in 1905, making it the oldest mosque in France. Rebuilt after a fire in 1974, it has a 32-metre-high minaret, Indian-style architecture and a clean, elegant interior of white and green. It is one of Saint-Denis's landmark buildings.
