📍 Destination Overview
Ede, in the east-central province of Gelderland, is nestled within the Hoge Veluwe, one of the Netherlands' largest forest reserves, its history reaching back to the twelfth century. In the Second World War it was a battlefield of Operation Market Garden, and a Polish war cemetery honours the fallen. The Veluwe's pines, heathland and lakes make it a great weekend escape.
