Beach season is May–Oct, busiest in high summer, with milder temperatures in spring/autumn (Apr/Nov). It has Cyprus's finest golden sand and Caribbean-clear blue water (Nissi Beach and more), with gentle shallows ideal for swimming, and famously lively nightlife. To the east, the coast toward Cape Greco is scattered with natural sea arches, caves and stacks carved by waves from limestone — strange, magnificent and great for sunrise.
