Universal Orlando Resort
No.1 Orlando
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort is the largest theme park resort in central Florida, spread over roughly 750 acres in southwest Orlando. It comprises four parks: Universal Studios Florida (1990), Islands of Adventure (1999), the Volcano Bay water park (2017) and Epic Universe, which opened on May 22, 2025. Epic Universe cost about $7 billion across 110 acres and is Florida's first entirely new major theme park in nearly 25 years, radiating from Celestial Park through portals into four worlds: Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk and Dark Universe. What makes the resort unusual is the completeness of its Wizarding World: Hogsmeade and Hogwarts Castle sit at Islands of Adventure, Diagon Alley and Gringotts at the Studios, and Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe, with the Hogwarts Express running between Hogsmeade and King's Cross on a park-to-park ticket. Screen IPs are staged with real sets throughout: TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D, Revenge of the Mummy and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem at the Studios; VelociCoaster, Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Jurassic Park River Adventure at Islands of Adventure; and Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry plus Monsters Unchained at Epic Universe. With attractions for every age, it is one of Orlando's two major park resorts, sitting west of Walt Disney World across the city.

Walt Disney World
No.2 Orlando
Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida opened on October 1, 1971 and is the most visited Disney resort, covering some 30,000 acres (about 120 sq km), roughly the size of San Francisco. It comprises four theme parks, two water parks, more than 25 themed hotels with nearly 29,000 rooms, the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, four golf courses and the free-to-enter Disney Springs. The parks divide cleanly: Magic Kingdom (1971) is the classic fairy-tale home of Cinderella Castle, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle Run and the nightly fireworks; EPCOT (1982) is for World Showcase dining and seasonal festivals; Disney's Hollywood Studios (1989) is built on Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land; Disney's Animal Kingdom (1998) pairs Pandora's Avatar Flight of Passage with live animal exhibits. Strategy matters as much as the attractions: rope drop for headliners, eating off-peak and returning for fireworks is the rhythm. Skip-the-line is now Lightning Lane Multi Pass (about US$15-45 per person per day), Single Pass (US$12-25 per ride) and Premier Pass (US$129-449 per park per day), all of which replaced the retired Genie+ in July 2024; Disney Resort hotel guests also get 30-minute daily Early Theme Park Entry, free transport between resorts and parks, and Extended Evening Hours at select parks when staying at Deluxe resorts. Construction is heavy through 2026 and 2027: DinoLand U.S.A. closed in February 2026, with Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom and Monstropolis at Hollywood Studios both due to open in 2027.

No.3 Orlando
Universal's Islands of Adventure
Universal's Islands of Adventure is one of two theme parks at the Universal Orlando Resort, opened in 1999 with the theme of exploring unknown worlds, one of America's most thrilling and immersive theme parks. The park is divided into six themed islands: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing. The most famous is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, opened in 2010, where Hogwarts Castle houses Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, hailed as one of the best theme park rides ever, with Ollivanders Wand Shop, Diagon Alley, and the Three Broomsticks tavern letting fans live the dream. Marvel Island's Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man represent the thrill rides. Whether for Harry Potter fans, Marvel fans, or thrill seekers, Islands of Adventure offers a full day of fantasy and adventure.

SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld Orlando is a marine-themed resort park in the heart of Orlando's theme-park belt. You can get close to dolphins, sea lions and (historically) killer-whale presentations, while big roller coasters and water rides deliver thrills—marine science and adrenaline in one place. Seasonal events like Christmas and Halloween shows run through the year, suiting families and younger visitors. Beyond Orlando's 'big three' parks, SeaWorld adds the breadth of the ocean to magic and movies—an energetic choice for a family day out.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is NASA's official visitor facility located on Merritt Island, Florida. This is the birthplace of American human spaceflight, where the Apollo moon landings, Space Shuttle program, and today's Artemis missions all began. Visitors can get up close with the massive Saturn V rocket, the actual Atlantis Space Shuttle, experience the thrilling shuttle launch simulator, visit the Apollo/Saturn V Center, and even have lunch with a real astronaut. From the Launch Complex 39 observation gantry, you can feel the epic journey of human space exploration. This is not merely a museum but a living chronicle of spaceflight that inspires generations of dreamers.

Lake Eola
Lake Eola Park is an urban green oasis in the heart of downtown Orlando, Florida, centered on Lake Eola and widely regarded as the green heart of the city. The roughly 43-acre park has existed since Orlando founding days, its lake surface rippling year-round and its centerpiece fountain lighting up in colorful nightly displays that have become one of Orlando most recognizable landmarks. A 1.4-kilometer paved walkway circles the lake under rows of swaying palms and is the most popular spot in the city for morning jogs, leisurely strolls, and dog walking. Flocks of white swans and ducks glide across the water year-round, and visitors can rent swan-shaped paddleboats for a tranquil spin on the lake, experiencing a quieter side of Orlando far from the theme park hustle. The Sunday Lake Eola Farmers Market is one of the most popular weekend events in Orlando, drawing thousands for local produce, crafts, street food, and live music.
