Ikura-do Cave
Ikura-do is a limestone cave along the Taishaku Gorge in Niimi, Okayama. Stalactites and stalagmites unfold under lights while a walkway follows an underground river. Part of the Taishaku Gorge Quasi-National Park, it joins the 'Shinryu Lake' and the 'Ohashi' cliff as a rare karst wonder on the San'in–Sanyo border — cool in summer, hushed in winter.

Stonemason's House Site
The Stone Mason's Ruins in the Bitchu area of Okayama preserve the old quarrying and dressing faces where granite was cut and shaped by hand. Bitchu stone (granite) supplied temples, castles and bridge piers across the Kansai region for centuries; this site reveals the craftsmen's patient labour against hard rock and is a doorway into the local 'culture of stone'.

Nakano-tani Azumaya
Nakanoya Chashitsu is a traditional wooden rest pavilion near Kurashiki's historic Bikan district, offering travellers a sheltered spot to pause and take in the view. The 'azumaya' — a simple four-post, open-sided pavilion — is common in Japanese gardens and mountain paths; set by the water and framed by the white-walled storehouses of Kurashiki, it makes a quiet halt on a stroll.

Kinojo Castle
Oni-no-jō is an ancient mountain-fortress ruin in Sōja, Okayama, tied to the legend of Kibitsuhiko's campaign against the 'oni' (demon) in the Momotarō folktale. Earthen ramparts and dry moats several kilometres long survive, reconstructed from the Nihon Shoki chronicle as an ancient defensive work and a vantage point over the Kibi plain, with cherry blossoms in spring and red leaves in autumn.
