No.1
Tianmen Mountain, in Yongding, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China, takes its name from the natural 'Heavenly Gate' hole pierced through the mountain — Zhangjiajie's landmark peak, made famous worldwide when a 1999 airshow flew through the gate. A lone peak in clouds, its 'Avenue toward Heaven' switchbacks in 99 dizzying bends, hailed as the 'world's top road wonder'; the cliff-hugging glass walkway tests courage. Ride the world's longest alpine passenger cableway to the clouds for a view of Wuling peaks and the river valley — where natural wonder meets engineering awe, a must-visit.

The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge (Yuntiandu) spans the canyon in Cili, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China. When opened in 2016 it set records as the world's longest and highest glass pedestrian bridge — about 430 m long, ~300 m above the floor. Its transparent tempered-glass deck lets you walk on air with a 360° view of the deep gorge, waterfalls and primeval forest; sea-of-clouds on clear days, mist on rainy ones — thrill and grandeur combined. With canyon walks, ziplines and water trails, it is the modern sensory version of Zhangjiajie's 'fantastic peaks and waters' and a magnet for the brave.

No.3
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park lies in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China — the country's first national forest park and the core of the Wulingyuan UNESCO World Heritage site. Over three thousand quartz-sandstone pillars rise from the earth, often veiled in mist like a fairyland; Golden Whip Stream, Yuanjiajie, Yellow Stone Village and Tianzi Mountain form a connected painting. It inspired the floating mountains in Avatar, blending peaks, gorges, clear streams and Tujia culture — the quintessence of Zhangjiajie's landforms.

No.4
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon lies in Cili County, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China, a deep gorge in the Wuling Mountains famed for cliffs, waterfalls, pools and Asia's longest high-altitude glass bridge. Inside, a slit of sky (One-Line-Sky), cliffside ladder walkways and Rainbow Plaza wind along murmuring streams; the transparent bridge spans the gorge so you can look straight down a hundred meters to the peaks below. Combining thrill with natural wonder, it's the watery counterpart to Zhangjiajie's stone forests — a top spot for cool retreats and a test of nerve.
