Voyageurs National Park is located in northern Minnesota near the Canadian border, established as a national park in 1971. This unique park is renowned for its water-and-land blended landscape, with over 40% of its area being water, including four large lakes and 26 interior lakes with over 650 miles of pristine shoreline. The park is named after the French fur traders known as voyageurs who operated here in the 18th and early 19th centuries. The Walker Art Center, located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, is one of America's most important contemporary art museums, ranked alongside MoMA in New York and SFMOMA in San Francisco as one of the five major modern art museums in the US. Founded in 1879 as a private gallery, it has developed into a comprehensive art institution. The building, designed by architect Edward Larrabee Barnes and expanded in 2005 with a distinctive folded metal facade, has become a Minneapolis landmark. The collection includes over 13,000 modern and contemporary works across painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. The center is adjacent to the famous Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, home to Claes Oldenburg's iconic Spoon and Cherry sculpture. As a champion of avant-garde art, the Walker remains at the forefront of global contemporary art development.

Lake Calhoun, now renamed Bde Maka Ska, is one of the most beautiful urban lakes in Minneapolis, located in the Chain of Lakes district in the southwest of the city, forming the famous Chain of Lakes corridor together with Lake Harriet and Lake Isles. This approximately 17-hectare urban oasis features a 5-kilometer multi-use trail around its shore, making it the most popular destination for running, cycling, walking, and dog-walking in Minneapolis. The sparkling lake offers kayak, paddleboard, and sailboat rentals in summer, while the beach is ideal for sunbathing and picnicking. On the north side stands the iconic Spoon and Cherry sculpture by artist Claes Oldenburg, one of the most recognizable public art landmarks in Minneapolis. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a natural ice skating rink and ice boating venue, continuing the city's year-round outdoor tradition. The surrounding Uptown and Linden Hills neighborhoods are filled with boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, creating a perfect lakeside lifestyle district.

The Stone Arch Bridge spans the Mississippi River branch near Saint Anthony Falls in downtown Minneapolis, an outstanding example of late 19th-century industrial revolution railway bridge construction. Built in 1883 of red brick and granite with 23 stone arches and about 640 meters long, it was once the lifeline of rail and freight connecting both banks of Minneapolis. Today the railway has ceased and the bridge has been converted into a pedestrian and bicycle greenway, becoming the city's finest riverfront viewing platform. From the bridge you overlook Saint Anthony Falls, the hydraulic waterfall complex that was the founding source of Minneapolis, and view skyscrapers on both banks and the historic flour mills converted into museums. Lit up at night, it is a classic spot for skyline photography and riverside strolls.
