June–September brings strong sun and swimmable water, ideal for swimming and beach sports; spring and fall are quieter and comfortable. From November to February it's cooler but still sunny, great for roams and ocean-view dining. Pack sunscreen any time of year; parking by the beach is pricey, so take the Metro E line or a bus instead.
