📍 Destination Overview
Keukenhof is in the town of Lisse in South Holland, the Netherlands, the world's largest tulip park, known as the Garden of Europe. It opens for only about eight weeks each spring (roughly mid-March to mid-May), planting seven million bulbs such as tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, presenting a breathtaking, colorful sea of flowers through meticulously designed flower beds, borders and themed pavilions. The flower parade in late April is an annual event. Around the park lie endless commercial tulip fields; you can rent a bike to ride through the red, yellow and purple flower sea, or take a helicopter to overlook the palette of the land. This is the Netherlands' once-a-year, world-famous floral feast.
