📍 Destination Overview
The Tree of Life is a solitary mesquite tree in southern Bahrain's desert, about 400 years old, thriving with no obvious water source—Bahrain's iconic natural wonder. Standing on a dune near Jebel Dukhan, 30 km from Manama, it is a living mystery: its roots may reach tens of metres to aquifers, or it draws moisture condensed on the sand. It symbolises resilience and divine grace.
