Introduction
Wrigley Field is located in the Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago and has been the home of the MLB Chicago Cubs since 1916. Built in 1914, it is one of the oldest National League ballparks still in use. The park is famous for its ivy-covered brick outfield wall, hand-turned scoreboard, and the iconic red Wrigley Field marquee at the entrance. It seats about 42,000 spectators, and home runs hitting the scoreboard or ivy wall are classic images. Wrigley Field carries a century of Chicago baseball memory, with lights installed for the first time in 1988, and in 2016 the Cubs won their first World Series title here in 108 years. It is a must-visit for baseball pilgrims.
