Introduction

The Neon Museum in downtown North Las Vegas is dedicated to collecting, restoring and exhibiting retired neon signs from the city's history. Founded as a nonprofit in 1996 and opening its visitor center in 2012, the museum has preserved more than 200 classic neon pieces dating from the 1920s to the 1990s, including signs from casinos, motels, restaurants and clubs. The evening Brilliant! tour re-illuminates the signs with the help of projection technology, recreating the glow of vintage Las Vegas and offering a unique window into the evolution of the city's gaming and entertainment culture.
