The Queensboro Bridge (Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge), also known as the 59th Street Bridge, is an iconic steel cantilever bridge spanning the East River between Manhattan and Queens. Built in 1909, it is one of New York City's most recognizable bridges, featured in The Graduate and Simon & Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson." About 1,135 m long, spanning the East River and Roosevelt Island, it has two decks: vehicles on both levels, plus pedestrian and bike paths on the lower level.
