The St Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum stands at the southern tip of Anastasia Island in St Augustine, Florida, one of the oldest surviving lighthouses in the state. The current black-and-white spiral striped iron tower was built in 1874, 50 meters tall, replacing an earlier Spanish colonial watchtower.
