Introduction

Battleship Cove in Fall River, Massachusetts, is the largest naval history museum complex in New England and the world's most concentrated collection of World War II warships. It is home to multiple historic vessels including the battleship USS Massachusetts (BB-59), the destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., the submarine USS Lionfish, and the PT boat USS East Point. Visitors can board and explore every corner from bridge to engine room. The USS Massachusetts is the flagship, a South Dakota-class battleship that earned 11 battle stars in the Pacific theater during WWII.
