Surrounded by mountains with mirror-like waters, the reservoir features a paved loop trail approximately 3.4 miles long, beloved by local residents for morning jogs, dog walking, and leisurely strolls. From the northern trail, visitors can look up to see the iconic white Hollywood letters standing on the ridge above, offering a more unique and clearer perspective than Griffith Observatory. The surrounding vegetation is lush, with occasional deer and coyote sightings.
