Introduction

The Guinness World Records Museum was a popular attraction around Niagara Falls, opening in 1978 with wax figures, giant objects and interactive exhibits celebrating Guinness record breakers. After more than 42 years in operation it permanently closed around 2020-2021, with its memorabilia auctioned online in January 2021. The former site on Clifton Hill and the same-brand venue on the U.S. side no longer operate as public attractions and serve only as history now.
