Sony Wonder Technology Lab
Introduction
The Sony Wonder Technology Lab (SWTL) was an immersive, interactive technology museum for children and families on two floors at Sony's US headquarters at 550 Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan, opened in May 1994 to illustrate broadcasting and information-technology principles. It drew more than 200,000 visitors a year at its peak and nearly 3 million since opening. Please note: the lab permanently closed on January 29, 2016, and the site is now ordinary office/commercial space no longer open to visitors.
