Introduction

Skyslide is the world's highest slide on the outside of a building, certified by Guinness World Records. It runs down the facade of the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles from the 70th to the 69th floor, about 14m long, made of 32mm-thick glass, and suspended at about 918ft (280m) above the ground; it opened in 2016 with the OUE Skyspace observation deck. Please note: the observatory and slide permanently closed in October 2020 due to the pandemic and now exist only as a historic exterior landmark that visitors can no longer ride.
