Introduction

Chongqing Zoo is located in Yangjiaping Street, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City, 8 kilometers from the city center, at an altitude of 240—305.8 meters.Covering an area of 45 hectares, it is the largest comprehensive park in Chongqing. It is one of the three zoos with the largest number of giant pandas in China. It is also the breeding base for giant pandas and the population base of the National South China Tiger Breeding Center.National AAAA-level tourist attraction, selected as a national key park in 2009.
