Introduction

The Yokohama Tram Museum in Takigashira, Isogo, opened in 1973 on the former Takigashira tram depot and moved to its present building in 1983. Seven preserved streetcars that once ran Yokohama's streets are shown with stop signs, paving blocks, a history corner and a tram simulator — and you can climb into the driver's cab.
