Introduction

The Japan Newspaper Museum (Newspark), inside the Yokohama Information Culture Center on Nihon-odori in Yokohama, opened in 2000 as a hands-on museum tracing the history and production of Japanese newspapers from their birth to the present. Exhibits of real objects, films and replicas explore the relationship between newspapers and society, and visitors can try their hand at news production and printing.
