Saltinho Waterfall
Introduction
The Saltinho waterfalls (Quedas de Saltinho / Rápidos de Saltinho) are a famous natural attraction in Guinea-Bissau, on the Rio Corubal river in the central Bafatá region. Clear water cascades from level to level over the rocks, surrounded by a peaceful forest-covered setting. Not a large waterfall, it is nevertheless a beautiful spot for swimming, picnicking, fishing and birdwatching, and the nearby Saltinho bridge offers an excellent view of the falls.
