The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the fifth-largest museum in North America and Canada's largest museum of world cultures and natural history. The ROM houses a collection of over six million objects and specimens, displayed across more than 40 galleries. The museum is internationally renowned for its extensive collection of Chinese art, with approximately 30,000 Chinese artifacts, making it one of the richest collections of Chinese art outside China. The iconic "Lee-Chin Crystal" expansion, designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, added a striking modern wing to the historic building. The ROM attracts nearly one million visitors annually and is one of Toronto's most beloved cultural landmarks.

The David Dunlap Observatory sits on Observatory Hill in Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto, Canada. Opened in 1935, its 1.88-metre reflecting telescope was then the second largest in the world and remains the largest optical telescope in Canada. Built with funds from the family of mining magnate David Alexander Dunlap, it was run by the University of Toronto until 2008 and is now owned by the town of Richmond Hill, which hosts open houses and public stargazing nights. Please note this observatory is in Canada, not the Panamanian city of David.
