Hope is a small town in British Columbia's Fraser Valley, gateway from Vancouver to the interior. It is famed for 30-plus carved wooden sculptures of bears, salmon, Sasquatch and totems through town. Nearby Hell's Gate offers tunnels and trestles hewn into steep canyon walls above green water. As a filming site for First Blood, it is a charming stop on the road inland.
