Torres del Paine Travel Guide

Torres del Paine National Park is located in Patagonia, the southernmost tip of Chile. It is one of the most spectacular wilderness secrets and hiking paradise in South America and even the world. It is famous for its towering granite peaks, blue glacial lakes, hanging glaciers, golden grasslands and wild animals. The southern hemisphere summer is the best from November to March, with windy weather and changeable weather. The most breathtaking ones are the three Torres del Paine towers standing side by side (from which the park is named). At sunrise, the first ray of sunlight dyes the peaks of the towers in a fiery golden red, making them a sacred sight for hikers who trek for hours; and the black-topped Torres del Paine peak. Many wonders: Lake Pehoe, Gray Lake and the magnificent Gray Glacier (blue glacier and floating iceberg) at the end; groups of Guanaco strolling leisurely in the grassland, and Andean condors soaring in the sky. The classic W route and the longer O loop route are pilgrim routes for hikers around the world (about 4-5 days, mountain hut booking is required, and all equipment is available).
