Introduction
The Burnaby Village Museum is a roughly 10-acre open-air living history village beside Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. It re-creates the street scene of a 1920s small town, with historic structures such as a tailor shop, school, pharmacy and general store, and offers interactive demonstrations of old-time crafts, hand-roasted coffee and Chinese mahjong. Admission is free; riding the fully restored 1920s antique Carousel inside costs a small fee.
