The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway is a world-famous long bridge spanning Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, consisting of two parallel bridges each about 38.6 kilometers (24 miles) long, listed by Guinness World Records as the longest continuous bridge over water in the world.
