Epcot World Showcase

Introduction

Epcot World Showcase is the centerpiece of Disney's Epcot theme park, centered around a lagoon ringed by 11 permanent country pavilions that let visitors "travel the world" in a single day. Each pavilion is designed by architects from the represented country, faithfully recreating the local architecture, landscaping, and staff costumes, complemented by authentic cuisine, specialty shops, and cultural performances that create a powerful sense of immersion. The 11 pavilions are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The China pavilion features a replica of Beijing's Temple of Heaven, while the France pavilion's scaled Eiffel Tower is an iconic park landmark. Each pavilion houses a Disney-designed attraction or cultural exhibit, such as the Frozen Ever After ride in Norway, the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico, and the Impressions de France panoramic film. In the evening, the lagoon hosts the "Epcot Forever" fireworks and water show, weaving the 11 pavilions into a spectacular audiovisual experience.
