Introduction

The Lied Discovery Children's Museum is Las Vegas's premier family educational attraction, first opened in 1984 and relocated in 2013 to Symphony Park in a building designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson that is itself a playful work of art. About 5,600 square meters across three floors hold more than 20 interactive exhibits covering science, art, health, culture and role-play. Favorites include the Fantasy Tower climbing structure, mock supermarket, bank and hospital role-play areas, and a Toddler Tower for the youngest visitors. With a learning-through-play philosophy, every exhibit is hands-on, making this an ideal choice for families seeking a break from the casinos.
