The Small Wild Goose Pagoda (Jianfu Temple Pagoda), in Beilin, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, was built in 707–710 during the Tang to house sutras brought from India by the monk Yijing — a masterpiece of Tang dense-eave brick pagodas, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014 as part of the Silk Roads. About 43 m with fifteen graceful eaves, it has withstood millennia of earthquakes; its 'pagoda morning bell' is one of the 'Eight Views of Guanzhong.'
