Introduction
Arktikum is Rovaniemi's palace of science and culture — a 100-metre glass-domed corridor sunk into the frozen slope, compressing polar nature and humanity into one place. Exhibits trace Arctic ecology, Sámi culture, the cause of auroras and climate change; through the glass wall you gaze at the polar sky.
