Introduction
Maritiman is a floating maritime museum in Gothenburg, opened in 1987, mooring more than ten retired vessels — destroyers, submarines and a lightship — in a harbour basin that visitors can board and explore. It turns Sweden's seafaring tradition and naval memory into touchable, climbable real decks, a hit with families and military-history fans in Gothenburg.
