🌏 Destination Overview
Sweden blends minimalist design, natural lakes and forests, and Nordic slow living. Stockholm is made up of fourteen islands, where the old town's cobblestone lanes, the City Hall and the Vasa Museum tell its history, while modern design and cafés exude ease; in the north, Kiruna has ice hotels and aurora, and the south is a pastoral mix of lakes, forests and red cabins. Livable, clean and aesthetically attuned, Sweden is an ideal place to feel Nordic lifestyle and natural beauty.

Liseberg📍 Gothenburg
Liseberg opened in 1923 and is among Scandinavia's largest amusement parks, set right in central Gothenburg. It is famed for the award-winning wooden coaster Balder, thrilling rides and dazzling seasonal light displays; its Christmas market and summer concerts make it a joyful landmark for all ages.

Visby📍 Visby
Visby, the capital of Gotland island, is Scandinavia's best-preserved medieval town and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995. A 3.4-kilometre limestone wall with 36 surviving towers still rings the old quarter, where 13th-century merchants' houses, church ruins and rose gardens line the cobbled lanes. Don't miss St. Mary's Cathedral and the botanic garden. Come in early August for the Medieval Week festival, when the whole town dresses up in period costume.

Gamla Stan📍 Stockholm
Gamla Stan is where Stockholm began, founded around 1252, and keeps the most complete medieval core in the Nordic countries. Narrow cobbled lanes and ochre mansions cluster around the Royal Palace, the cathedral and the Nobel Prize Museum. Wandering here is reading Stockholm's chronicle from Viking age to modern kingdom.

Vasamuseet📍 Stockholm
The Vasa Museum stands on Stockholm's Djurgården, displaying the 17th-century warship Vasa, which sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged in 1961. Almost perfectly preserved, the towering carved galleon stuns visitors and makes this the most-visited museum in the Nordic region — a lost naval power reborn in the hall.

Storkyrkan📍 Stockholm
Storkyrkan is Stockholm's oldest and most important church. Built from 1279, it features the famous St George and the Dragon wooden sculpture (1489), a Baroque altar and royal ceremony history — next to the Royal Palace. Built from 1279; Stockholm's oldest. St George and the Dragon (1489) — Gothic wood carving. Royal baptisms and weddings. Adjacent to Royal Palace.

Uppsala Castle📍 Uppsala
Uppsala Castle was initiated by Gustav Vasa in the 16th century and expanded by later kings — a leading example of Swedish Renaissance fortification. Raised on a high platform above the city and river, it saw major events like the Sture murders and now houses the Uppsala County Museum, whose collections span royal power and Swedish science.
