Lej da San Murezzan

Introduction
Lake St. Moritz is an alpine lake on the Engadin plateau at about 1,768 m, next to St. Moritz town, the beautiful natural backdrop of this resort. In summer the water is a clear blue, surrounded by mountains and pine, with connected lakeside paths for strolling, running and cycling, and water sports like sailing and windsurfing on the lake, reflecting blue sky and snow peaks—lovely. In deep winter the surface freezes completely, becoming a stage for unique ice events—the famous 'White Turf' (horse racing on ice), polo, cricket and even ice golf are held on this natural ice lake—a wonder. Around the lake are also hiking and viewing routes. Blue lake reflecting snow peaks, ice hosting events—Lake St. Moritz, with its different summer and winter charm, is a four-season scenic stage of this highland resort.
