Introduction

Whiteman Park is a 3,732-hectare conservation and recreation reserve about 25 km north-east of Perth, in the Swan Valley region. Entry and parking are free, and the gates open daily around 8:30-18:00. Inside you will find Whiteman Park's heritage electric trams (operated by the Perth Electric Tramway Society on a 4 km track and the only place in WA to ride genuine old electric trams), Caversham Wildlife Park, a Tractor and Agricultural Heritage Museum, the Mussel Pool and a network of trails and children's play areas - enough to keep families busy for a full day.
