Balmoral Beach
Introduction
Balmoral Beach is a calm harbour beach in the northern-suburbs Mosman district of Sydney, with broad, gently sloping sand backed by lawns and eucalypts and continuing into a second beach at its southern end. The area inside the shark nets is famously safe and calm for swimming, ideal for families and children, while the Balmoral Bathers' Pavilion built in the 1920s is one of the city's few surviving Spanish Mission-style landmarks, now housing restaurants and cafes.
