Moore Park
Introduction
Moore Park lies on the inner edge of Sydney's eastern suburbs, about 3 km from the central business district on a green belt connected to the Centennial Parklands. It is the city's sporting heart, home to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and Allianz Stadium (Sydney Football Stadium), and was for over a century the site of the Royal Agricultural Society and the annual Royal Easter Show. The precinct also includes the Entertainment Quarter, the Hordern Pavilion, the Royal Hall of Industries and the film studio campus of Fox Studios (now Disney), making it a major combined sports, events and leisure space.
