📍 Destination Overview
Acapulco, a Pacific resort on Mexico's coast, curves around a deep bay made famous by the Manila galleon trade. Its iconic La Quebrada divers leap some 45 meters into the sea each evening; the seaside boulevard brims with hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs, while Fort San Diego recalls the colonial past—sun, bay, and cliff wonders.

No.1 Acapulco
Capilla de la Paz
The Capilla de la Paz (Chapel of Peace) stands atop the Las Brisas hill in Acapulco, built in the 1960s by a local hotelier in memory of those lost in war. A white cross about 40 metres high crowns the summit, and the platform gives a 360-degree view over the bay of Acapulco and the city lights — among the best panoramas in town.

No.2 Acapulco
Fuerte de San Diego
The Fuerte de San Diego is Acapulco's oldest and most important military building — a star-shaped fortress first built in 1616 to defend the Pacific port against Caribbean pirates, later rebuilt after earthquakes into the five-pointed star seen today. Inside is now the Acapulco History Museum, with nautical charts, cannon and colonial-trade artefacts arranged around the central courtyard.
