Introduction
Campbell House is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Toronto, a Georgian-style residence constructed in 1822 for the prominent Upper Canada merchant William Campbell. Originally built in what is now the northern part of the city, it was moved to its present location and opened as a heritage museum. Its period rooms recreate upper-class home life in early 19th-century Toronto.
