NASA Headquarters
Introduction
NASA Headquarters in southwest Washington, DC was renamed 'Mary W. Jackson NASA Headquarters' in 2019 to honor NASA's first Black female engineer (subject of the film Hidden Figures). The first floor houses the Earth Information Center, whose giant Hyperwall displays live satellite data on Earth's climate, oceans, fires and city lights. NASA HQ has no stand-alone visitor center, but it is four blocks from the National Air and Space Museum; the lobby exhibitions are open free on weekdays. The street was renamed Hidden Figures Way in 2019.
