Introduction
Todai-ji is a grand, solemn thousand-year temple in Nara, famed for its huge wooden hall and the Great Buddha - a sacred site. In Nara Park, a World Heritage site. Its Great Buddha Hall (Daibutsuden) is among the world's largest wooden buildings, housing the great bronze Buddha (about 15 m).
