Introduction

Shin-Umeda City is a complex in Osaka's Umeda district centred on the Umeda Sky Building, completed in 1993: twin towers linked at the roof by the Floating Garden, billed as the world's first connected high-rise, and named among The Times' top 20 buildings in 2008.
