Introduction

The Sanno Art Museum in Shiromi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, opened as an independent museum in 2022 to show the some 600 works collected over fifty years by the founder of Hotel Monterey - modern Western and Japanese painting, ceramics and sculpture, including Renoir, Foujita, Saeki Yuzo and Uemura Shoen. The five-storey building stages collection specials each spring and autumn.
