Introduction

Cairns Zoom and Wildlife Dome sits inside a transparent dome on the roof of the Reef Hotel Casino in central Cairns, reached by lift. The dome is both a wildlife habitat and, quite literally, the world's first facility to combine a high-ropes challenge course with an enclosed wildlife exhibit - cockatoos, parrots and crocodiles roam free while visitors make their way between suspended obstacles. Alongside the ZOOM ropes challenge (with Mid-ZOOM, PowerJump and Dome-Climb levels), you can join bird feeding or pose with a koala or reptile - a rare mix of rainforest wildlife and adventure in Cairns.
