Hurghada Marina / El Mamsha Promenade
Hurghada's El Mamsha Promenade is the walking spine of this Red Sea resort city, stretching kilometres along the shore with cafés, shops and night markets aglow. At dusk the sea breeze is gentle — the best long walk to watch boats and feel the Red Sea's holiday rhythm. At its end, the marina moors dive boats and a submarine — the easiest hub to book Red Sea trips.

No.2 Hurghada
Giftun Island
Giftun Island is a protected isle off Hurghada in the Red Sea, famous for its powdery white beach and layered turquoise water. Coral reefs and tropical fish surround it — the classic Red Sea day trip for snorkelling and a lazy beach. A simple resort and shade shelters sit on the sand; after snorkelling you rest on white beach above clear water.

No.3 Hurghada
Eastern Desert Safari
An Eastern Desert safari is Hurghada's favourite land adventure: 4x4 convoys race from the coast across ochre gorges to a Bedouin camp. Ride camels, watch flatbread baking and sip herbal tea as the sun sets the hills alight; many trips add shows and stargazing. In half a day you swap the beach for a nomadic world.

No.4 Hurghada
Hurghada Harmony Makadi Bay
Hurghada Harmony Makadi Bay is a beachfront resort in the sheltered Makadi Bay area south of Hurghada. Guests step onto a sandy beach for house-reef snorkelling, water sports and boat trips, or relax between pools and dining. Its quieter location makes it a comfortable base for sea and desert trips.

El Gouna
El Gouna is a lagoon-woven resort town north of Hurghada, nicknamed Egypt's Little Venice: sea-water canals thread between low white buildings, bridges and marinas. Diving and snorkelling trips, golf, spas and a polished dining scene make it the Red Sea's most self-contained holiday spot.

🎯 Hurghada Experiences

Underwater ride
Swim among the fish.
Coast sunset
Reds on the water.
Desert stars
Night sky over sand.
Town walk
Marina & souk.
Hurghada is best from October to March, when winter air stays mild and the sea warm for diving and relaxing; mid-summer is fiercely hot, so plan morning excursions and avoid midday. A classic stay spends a day at sea — snorkelling or glass-boating around Giftun Island among Red Sea corals — then a day in the desert on quads and a Bedouin camp for sunset and stars. With more time, a day trip to Luxor adds the temples and Valley of the Kings. English is widely spoken in the resorts, prices are moderate and hotels are mostly all-inclusive, making it ideal for families. Blue sea and Sahara sand give Hurghada its unforgettable charm.
