Bryggen
Bryggen is Bergen's iconic UNESCO World Heritage wooden wharf, once the trading post of the Hanseatic League. Its colourful timber houses now host restaurants and craft shops.

Mount Fløyen
Mount Fløyen rises 320 metres just north of Bergen's centre; the Fløibanen funicular, leaving near the fish market, reaches the summit in five or six minutes. The view takes in the harbour, the fjord entrance and the seven mountains around the city. Bergen locals end their weekend hikes at the summit café, known for cinnamon buns and hot chocolate. The forest trail down takes about 45 minutes, past grazing sheep.
