Introduction
The Naramachi Museum is a private museum opened in 1985 in a machiya that was its founder's own home. Edo-to-Taisho signs, old coins, daily tools, Buddhist statues and folk materials fill the rooms, alongside hands-on and rest corners, while red saru-naru monkey charms — a Nara talisman — hang by the entrance.
