Hotokuji is a Yuzu Nembutsu-school temple in Jurinin-cho, Nara, with the mountain name Komyozan. Its predecessor is said to have been one of the sub-temples of Gangoji, and it was revived around the early 17th century by the priest Baigan, after which it joined the Yuzu Nembutsu school; its main image is Amida Nyorai.
